GENERAL INFORMATION
Are discounts available for children?
Children under 2 years old are free of charge. All children aged between 2 (inclusive) and 12 (inclusive) pay a reduced price (except for the Last Supper tour, where the full price applies to this age group as well).
What happens in case of bad weather?
Tours take place even in bad weather, unless conditions make it impossible to conduct them safely.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are welcome only if they are guide dogs or assistance dogs. Other animals cannot join our tours.
Can I bring a stroller?
Yes, you can bring a stroller and leave it on the bus.
Can I bring luggage with me?
Yes, you can bring one medium-sized piece of luggage and leave it on the bus.
Is a passport required to join the tour?
For tours that include stops in St. Moritz and Lugano, EU citizens need an identity card, while non-EU citizens require a passport. For the Last Supper tour, any valid ID is accepted.
Is a photocopy or a photo of my passport acceptable, or do I need the original?
For tours that include stops or transits in Switzerland (St. Moritz and Lugano), the original passport is required; for the Last Supper tour, a copy or a photo of the ID is also acceptable.
What is the meeting point?
We have several meeting points for our tours. We always recommend carefully reading the tour details provided in each of our listings.
Where does the tour end?
All our tours return to Milan at the end and stop at the same morning meeting points. The only exception is the Last Supper tour, which ends at Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie after viewing Leonardo’s painting.
Is hotel pick-up service available?
This service is not provided. Guests are kindly asked to make their own way to the departure points. We recommend arriving about 15 minutes before the tour starts.
What happens if I’m late for the start of the tour?
For all tours, it is necessary to arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start time. If you are late, please contact us by phone for assistance.
What should I do if I lose the group during the tour?
Contact immediately the emergency number provided in the confirmation email you received when booking the tour. Inform our team of your location, and we will arrange for you to safely rejoin the group.
What kind of clothing is required?
Our advice is always to dress in layers so you can easily adapt to changing weather conditions. In any case, we recommend bringing sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, and a lightweight rain jacket or windbreaker to protect yourself from sun, rain, or wind.
Is a minimum number of participants required for the tour to be confirmed?
Except in exceptional cases, all scheduled departures are guaranteed.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
What language is the tour conducted in?
All tours are offered in both English and Spanish, except for the Last Supper tour, which is available only in English. We always recommend carefully reading the details in the individual tour descriptions.
Are the tours private?
These are group tours with a maximum of about 40 to 45 people per tour. If you’re interested in a private tour, please contact us here.
Can I choose my seat?
Seats on the bus from Milan and on other transportation included in the tours (trains, boats) are guaranteed but not assigned. We always recommend carefully reading the details in the individual tour descriptions.
Do the tours include a guide?
Yes, all tours include a professional, licensed multilingual guide or tour leader.
Are entrance tickets to attractions included in the tours?
It depends on the type of tour. Some include entrance tickets, while others require separate payment. Details are specified in the tour description, under the “Includes” section.
Are the train carriages on the Bernina line panoramic?
For the “Lake Como, St. Moritz and Bernina” and “Bernina and St. Moritz” tours, the booking includes standard carriages, which we consider better because they allow you to open the windows to fully enjoy the surrounding landscape and take beautiful photos.
Is swimming allowed in Lake Como?
Yes, swimming is allowed in some areas, although the time available is often limited. You can ask the guide for more information.
Are the tours suitable for people with reduced mobility?
The itineraries are quite intense and take place in areas with various natural architectural barriers. Therefore, it is important to assess each participant’s mobility level to ensure safe access. Please contact us to evaluate individual situations.(info@autostradaleviaggi.it)
Is it possible to request changes and/or customizations to the itineraries?
As these are regular group tours, changes or customizations are not available. To respect all participants, everyone is asked to follow the program and the guide’s instructions.
BOOKINGS AND PURCHASE
I haven’t received the booking confirmation email, what should I do?

Until when can I cancel and/or modify my booking?
As stated in our Terms and Conditions, bookings can be modified and/or canceled without penalty up to 48 hours before departure.
Is it possible to book and pay at boarding?
It is possible to purchase tours at departure, subject to availability after all booked passengers have boarded; therefore, we strongly recommend booking in advance.
